2024 Lincoln sp 125 plus problems

I just bought a lincoln sp 125 for $200 I havent seen it yet my grandpa got it and he is on his way home now he says it is in very good condition. I know it will not weld much at all but I figure I can use it for small projects and tacking. Then when I get money I will get a mm210.. Izuku has boosted gear fanfiction

A bad switch will kill both weld power and wire feed. A bad switch will also prevent power from getting to the rectifier. A bad rectifier will take out both weld and wire feed in either an SP-125T or an SP-125-PLUS. Another thing to try first is when you are welding is keep the cable to the gun straight as possible. Higher guage wire doesn't travel around curves well as lighter gauge. A really cheap fix is to replace the contact tip.
